
MLB superstar agrees eyewatering new $116million contract... months after making All-Star team
The Arizona Diamondbacks have tied their superstar second-baseman Ketel Marte down to a new six-year, $116.5million contract, according to multiple reports. The 31-year-old finished in third place in the National League MVP voting last year after hitting 36 home runs, and his impressive form has now resulted in a wage increase at the start of the 2025 season. He was previously on a $76million contract, but MLB.com report that he has now put pen to paper on a blockbuster new $116m deal through 2031.
