The Kansas City Chiefs have requested to play on Christmas Day every year, according to reports. Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and Co. have played on December 25 for each of the past seasons. Now, according to The Athletic, the Chiefs have told the NFL they want the holiday game to become a staple part of their regular season. The Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys currently enjoy a similar tradition, playing on Thanksgiving every year.
