The curse of hamstring injuries at Arsenal does not seem to end. The excitement prior to their 2-1 victory over Fulham on Tuesday night centred on Bukayo Saka's return. His three-month absence because of a hamstring tear, which required surgery, had been sorely felt by the Gunners who have fell out of Premier League title contention in that time. Yet the boost of seeing him substituted on in the 66th minute and scoring — his return garnered a reception fit for a royal from the home crowd — was dampened by what occurred in the first half.
