A-League soccer star Angel Torres met a young woman at a nightclub before taking her home and raping her, a jury has heard. The Central Coast Mariners striker is accused of putting the woman's belt around her neck at one stage when they were in his bedroom. Colombia-born Torres, 24, pleaded not guilty in the Gosford District Court on Monday to one count of aggravated sexual intercourse without consent, an alternative count of sexual intercourse without consent, one count of intimidation intending to cause fear and two counts of assault.
