Everton have signed Carlos Alcaraz on a loan deal from Flamengo for the rest of the season with an option to buy the midfielder at the end of the campaign. The 22-year-old becomes David Moyes' first signing since returning as manager last month. The Argentine started this season with Southampton, coming off the bench on the opening day defeat by Newcastle but joined Brazilian club Flamengo later in August for a club-record £16million fee.
