Jamie Carragher has insisted Ange Postecoglou will be sacked if he fails to adapt Tottenham's style of play after their poor start to the season. Spurs' punishing 4-3 defeat by Chelsea on Sunday, which saw them collapse despite taking a two-goal lead in the opening 11 minutes, left them 11th in the Premier League table and seven points adrift of the Champions League spots. Mail Sport understands that Postecoglou maintains the immediate backing of chairman Daniel Levy but there is an acknowledgement that recent results, barring the 4-0 victory at Manchester City, have been disappointing.
