Dame Sarah Storey has slammed the lack of televised coverage of disability sport outside of the Paralympics – and believes that is why she has never finished in the top three of BBC Sports Personality of the Year. Britain's most successful Paralympian has been included on the six-person shortlist for this year's BBC award after she took her record tally of gold medals to 19 with two victories in Paris.
