Who is Tina Graudina? Meet the Latvian beach volleyball star

Tina Graudina has excelled at beach volleyball for Latvia. She represented her home country and the 2020 and 2024 Summer Olympics.

Graudina played college beach volleyball at USC. She starred there, earning National Player of the Year honors in 2019. In 2021, and 2022, she played a huge role on the team that won the nationalchampionship.

Overall, her career mark in college was 91-8. In 2025, Anastasija Samoilova and Graudiņa became Latvia's first-ever world champions in beach volleyball. “I can’t believe it!"Graudina said. “The game was so close. We constantly lost to them all the times that we had played. But today everything happened as we wanted. It’s amazing!”

Graudina's grandfather Arturs Graudinš was a Latvian champion in the 100-meter hurdles and grandmother Stanislava Spruženieks was a Latvian champion in the high jump.
