The couple held an intimate ceremony on a private island in the Bahamas on Saturday, May 23, PEOPLE can confirm. They were joined by a small group of guests, including the groom's siblings Ivanka Trump, Eric Trump and Tiffany Trump and their spouses. Bettina's family and a few close friends were also in attendance.
A source tells PEOPLE, “Bettina and Don Jr. got married on a glorious day in a place where they often visit.”
Don Jr., 48, is the eldest son of PresidentDonald Trumpand the lateIvana Trump, who were married from 1977 to 1990.
Bettina, 39, is a model and socialite born to Florida entrepreneur Harry Loy Anderson Jr. and philanthropist Inger Anderson.
The couple's Florida wedding document, which PEOPLE obtained on Friday, May 22, and the couple applied for on May 14, is affixed with signatures from Don Jr., 48, and Bettina, 39. It indicates the couple was married at Bettina's twin sister Kristina Anderson McPherson's home in West Palm Beach, Fla.
The license also notes that Bettina's brother-in-law, real estate attorney Bradley McPherson, officiated the wedding.
There has yet to be a wedding at the White House during Trump's second term.
The last White House wedding took place in November 2022, when PresidentJoe Biden's granddaughter Naomi Bidenmarried Peter Neal on the South Lawn. The last time a president's child was married at the White House was in 1971, when President Richard Nixon's daughter, Tricia, married Edward Finch Cox in theRose Garden.
“This would set them up for future political roles, whether Don Jr. goes after the presidency or something else,”a political source previously told PEOPLEof earlier speculation regarding hosting the nuptials at the White House, adding, at the time, “This is a consideration.”

Bettina prepared for the wedding with a bridal shower at Mar-a-Lago on April 12.Ivanka TrumpandTiffany Trumpwere both in attendance, as wasMarla Maples, Tiffany's mother andDonald's second wife.

“The shower was gorgeous,” a source told PEOPLE. “The event was held mostly inside and was lovely but there were guests hanging outside some of the time."
Other sources have previously told PEOPLE that the Trump family has been accepting of Anderson — and that she and Don Jr. have considered having children.
"She is poised, discerning, and always carries herself beautifully. He never has to think twice about her judgment, her composure, or her presence," a Palm Beach source said, adding that Anderson is considered an "enormous asset" to the president's eldest son.
"I think they're very well suited for each other," another source added. "I think she's really a great example for him and a great role model. I mean, she fits in perfectly with that whole group."
Ahead of the couple's wedding, Bettina made a prominent public appearance alongside the other Trump spouses earlier in the year. At President Trump's State of the Union address in February, she was seated right behind Don Jr., in a row withTiffany's husband,Michael Boulos;Eric's wife,Lara Trump; andIvanka's husband,Jared Kushner.
The couple was first spotted on a brunch date in August 2024, and were later seen again together in December 2024, when the politician joined Bettina's birthday dinner at the popular downtown Palm Beach restaurant Buccan. They were later photographed strolling down the beach together.
Don Jr. was previouslyengagedto former Fox News anchorKimberly Guilfoyle. The two never officially announced their split, but PEOPLE learned in December 2024 thatDon Jr. and Anderson had been quietly dating for about six months.
After a number of other public sightings together, the president officially announced his son's engagement in December 2025.
"I'm not usually at a loss for words, because I'm usually doing the ranting and raving really well," Don Jr. said during an event at the White House, per a videoLaura Loomerposted onX. "I want to thank Bettina for that one word: 'Yes.'"
Bettina added that the proposal marked the "most unforgettable weekend."
Don Jr. was also previously married toVanessa Trumpfor 12 years beforeshe filed for divorcein 2018. The former coupleshares five children, including their golfer-influencer daughterKai Trump, 18.
