Chris Appleton'sson is officially a college graduate!
On Sunday, May 17, the celebrity hairstylist, 42, shared a series of photoson Instagramfrom his 23-year-old son Billy's college graduation. In the pictures, Billy can be seen standing taller than his dad, wearing his graduation regalia.
Billy graduated from Loyola Marymount University, posing with his diploma in a few of the pictures. He was also seen with his sister Kitty-Blu, 21, and mom Katie Katon.

"Class of 26 🎓 One of the proudest moments of my life," Appleton wrote in his caption. "This went so fast, we really grew up together and watching the man you’re becoming means more to me than anything. So proud of you Bill!"
In his comments, the recent graduate got support from Appleton's longtime collaborator and close friend,Kim Kardashian. "Congrats Billy!" she wrote.

Back in January, the dad of two spoke with PEOPLE and shared that his daughter Kitty-Blu is the one whokeeps him up-to-date on the latest trends.
“I always ask Kitty. I'm like, ‘Kitty, what is, is this cool? Shall I do this, shall I do this?’ ” Appleton said.
“She just, like, advises me [on] what to do and where to go. And that's the great thing about having kids … they keep you young,” he added.
Kitty-Blu moved from England to L.A. when she was 17 to live with her dad and pursue a career as a makeup artist. In March 2022, she did a joint interview with Appleton forAllureand opened up about how, while her dad inspires her, she wanted to build her own career and not just be known “as Chris Appleton's daughter.”
“I was always that girl with my hair done and a full face of makeup. Because of social media, everyone at school was like, ‘Oh, can you get your dad to do my hair?’ I was like, ‘No!’ ” she said. “Makeup was my hobby and passion. It was my escape from school. I hated math and English.”
