11 Shows You Need to Watch On Netflix This April

Finally, the streamer is bringing back their anthology series,Beef, for a new season with an all-star cast:Carey Mulligan,Oscar Isaac,Charles MeltonandCailee Spaeny. The foursome will play an older and younger couple who find themselves in a tricky position after a big fight.

Netflix's dating reality showLove on the Spectrumreturns for season 4 at the start of the month. As always, the series will follow a cast of people on the Autism spectrum as they look for love or work on nurturing their already established relationships.

Over the years,Love on the Spectrumhas seen many successes, including James and Shelley andConnor and Georgie, who will all return for the fourth season.

New romantic hopefuls will fill out the cast and bring fresh relatable, heart-soaring storylines to the screen.

While the themes of the mockumentary tap on real-world problems in the United States' healthcare system, the show does so with a ton of heart and belly-aching jokes.

After that season 2 cliffhanger,XO, Kittyfans are ready for season 3to arrive at the beginning of April. The series, which is a spinoff ofTo All the Boys I've Loved Before, follows Lara Jean's younger singer Kitty (Anna Cathcart) as she navigates her teen years in Seoul.

In season 3, Kitty is entering her senior year and potentially reeling from touring with her crush Min Ho (Sang Heon Lee) over the summer (if that cliffhanger promise came to fruition).

Trust Me: The False Prophet(April 8)

After the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints' (FLDS) leader,Warren Jeffs, was convicted of two counts of sexual assault of a child, a member of the group, Samuel Bateman, seized the opportunity to create an offshoot of the group and positioned himself as a prophet to many women and girls who were previously in the FLDS.

Eventually though, new neighbors of the group in Arizona decided to take action. They got to know people in the offshoot, built trust and became moles for an investigation intoBateman's criminal activities. To their benefit, Bateman wanted to be recorded all the time, even when he was talking about hisillegal relationships with women and girls.

The resulting documentary, which charts the time beforehis December 2024 sentencingfor conspiracy to commit transportation of a minor for criminal sexual activity and conspiracy to commit kidnapping, is gripping and honors the bravery of both the filmmakers and the women and girls who fought to get justice.

In this French drama series, a group of siblings is contending with the shocking loss of their mother. The family lives on the Caribbean island of Martinique, which was colonized first by the Spanish and then the French in 1635.

InBandi, a name meaning "special," some of the scrappy siblings turn to a life of crime to support themselves, while others rail against the criminal actions of their family members. The high-octane drama promises emotionally dark scenes in the beautiful landscape of Martinique.

Big Mistakes(April 9)
