Who said Halloween night is the spookiest time?
From the "Today" show to "Live with Kelly and Mark," morning talk-show hosts are serving up their finest fright for Halloween.
True to form, the stars are drawing inspiration from pop culture icons, past and present, including Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, Meryl Streep in "The Devil Wears Prada" and nostalgic homages to classic TV and film.
But it's not enough to just plop on a costume. TV hosts are putting on an entire visual experience, with some performing musical numbers that range from Beyoncé to Jimmy Buffett.

"Today" show host Savannah Guthrie channeled spooky chic with her recreation of fashion designer Miranda Priestly from the Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep film "The Devil Wears Prada."
Guthrie recreated Streep and Hathaway's iconic office scene, during which Priestly coldly tells Hathway's character Andy Sachs, "You have no sense of fashion. You have no sense of style," followed by a terse, "That wasn't a question."

"Weekend Today" anchor Peter Alexander got into his musical side when he dressed up as rock icon Jimmy Buffett.
Decked out in a bright yellow graphic T-shirt and swimming trunks, Alexander sang along to Buffett's tropical rock classic "Margaritaville" while strumming on an acoustic guitar.

Sheinelle Jones pays tribute to Beyoncé's 'Cowboy Carter' era
This is ain't Texas, but "Today" show host Sheinelle Jones is bringing a little bit of the South to the Big Apple.
Jones dressed up as pop superstar Beyoncé and paid tribute to the singer's country-influenced, Grammy-winning album, "Cowboy Carter." The TV host recreated the album's striking cover, which shows Beyoncé posing atop a white horse.
Jones then performed a spirited dance routine to Beyoncé's song "Texas Hold 'Em" in an all-white cowgirl outfit.

Craig Melvin is ready to go a little crazy this Halloween.

As far as the Halloween gods are concerned, Dylan Dreyer is the man.
The "Today" show host and guest weather anchor paid tribute to pop singer and Four Seasons frontman Frankie Valli with her Halloween ensemble.
Dreyer, channeling retro sophistication in a red blazer and shirt and tie, performed The Four Seasons hit "Walk Like a Man" alongside a musical trio.

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are taking on the "It" couple of the year once again.
The "Live with Kelly and Mark" hosts, who parodied pop star Taylor Swift and her fiancé Travis Kelce's U.S. Open look last year, recreated Swift and Kelce's backyard engagement, which was revealed in a joint, Internet-breaking Instagram post.
The life of cohosts on Halloween: Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa put their own spin on Travis Kelce's proposal to Taylor Swift for the Oct. 31 episode of "Live."

"I've been Taylor Swift now for the past, like, 15 years and honestly, at my advanced age, they have to stop making me Taylor Swift," Ripa told USA TODAY. "It's not fair to Taylor! It's actually rude. We're being rude to Taylor at this point."
