Sherri Shepherd Halloween Special -
For the Halloween episode of her self-titled talk show Sherri, host Sherri Shepherd recreated four of television's most beloved characters
During two of the segments, Shepherd was joined by some familiar TV favorites, including Reginald VelJohnson and Jo Marie Payton from Family Matters, and Kaylor Martin from Love Island
The Halloween episode of Sherri airs Friday at 10 a.m.
It's spooky season, and Sherri Shepherd is tuned in!
For her Halloween takeover episode of her self-titled talk show Sherri, the actress and comedian, 58, goes all out, transforming into four of television's most beloved characters and welcoming some surprise guests along the way.
PEOPLE has the exclusive first look at the fashion-forward episode, which kicks off with Shepherd getting sucked into her TV while watching The Addams Family — only to reemerge on a smoke-filled stage as Morticia Addams.

The comedian served full "cemetery chic" in a 40-inch jet-black wig and a curve-hugging black velvet gown inspired by Catherine Zeta-Jones' take on the character, created in collaboration with seamstress Ana Toval.
With Thing — whose jeweled acrylic nails were on point — by her side and resident DJ, DJ Suss One, dressed as Uncle Fester, Shepherd joked that all she was missing was Gomez: "A man in pinstripes with good credit."
After escaping her haunted TV, Shepherd tuned in to another of her favorite classics, Family Matters and was quickly pulled back in, this time emerging as none other than Steve Urkel.
Dressed in vintage '90s straight-leg Lee jeans, a striped polo and Urkel's signature suspenders, Shepherd soon found herself lonely on the stage— which had been turned into the Winslows' living room—until Reginald VelJohnson and Jo Marie Payton, who played Carl and Harriette Winslow, joined her on the couch.

"It feels like home," Payton, 75, said about the Family Matters-inspired setup. VelJohnson, 73, praised Shepherd's spot-on Urkel impression, calling it "excellent."
When asked which scenes resonated most with audiences, Payton shared, "Whenever Reginald and I made up. When people saw their mom and dad go through the day no matter what happens… if we made up that night and said that we love each other."
As for the show's most iconic line? VelJohnson stood up, pointed his finger, and delivered it perfectly: "Go home, go home, go home!"
And just like that the cast of Family Matters was gone and in the living's room place came a tropical oasis, complete with palm trees and coconuts.
Having done spooky and funny, Shepherd decided it was time for sexy. The host swapped suspenders for heels and an asymmetrical swimsuit with a matching mesh sarong, channeling Love Island. "When it comes to dating, I've done just about everything … but I haven't tried reality TV," she said.

Shepherd was rolled out on stage atop a chaise lounge by three shirtless men in Hawaiian shirts, who later competed to "make mama's heart race" with dances — and even a few hand-on-abs moments.
Her special guest for the segment was none other than Love Island season 6 contestant Kaylor Martin, who arrived in a chic cutout swimsuit, cover up robe and wedges. "When I told my family I was going on reality TV, they looked at me like I was crazy," Martin said. "But look where I am now."
When asked if Shepherd would make a good Love Island USA contestant, Martin didn't hesitate: "They need to call you immediately and have you out in Fiji."
For her final transformation, Shepherd granted fans' wishes — literally — as Jeannie from the classic 1960s sitcom I Dream of Jeannie.

Her costume, designed in collaboration with Todd Fisher New York, featured a velvet vest, pink chiffon balloon pants, a hand-pleated bra top and a platinum blonde updo.
From her luxe "oil lamp" lounge, Shepherd began granting audience wishes — though not all went as planned. One coworker, dressed as Prince, wished to meet Mariah Carey, but only got a cardboard cutout. The next wish-grantee was more specific, and soon found themselves sitting on the lap of one of Shepherd's Love Island models.
To close out the episode, Shepherd granted the ultimate wish: audience giveaways, including Garrett's popcorn, a candle, a blanket and Broadway tickets.
Sherri airs weekdays (check local listings).
