Sex and the City alum James Remar is one suave septuagenarian!

The acclaimed actor, 71, looked as handsome as ever while working the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of HBO's new original series IT: Welcome To Derry in Burbank, California. Remar, who hit it big with iconic films like 48 Hrs. and the cult favorite The Warriors, went on to portray Richard, the dastardly hotelier boyfriend of Kim Cattrall's character, Samantha Jones, on Sex and the City. He also starred on Dexter and several other successful series, and it looks like he's got another hit on his hands with the upcoming spin on Stephen King's terrifying 1986 novel, It.

Remar hit the red carpet for the show's premiere in a suave navy suit jacket with a white shirt underneath. With their arrival, very bad things begin to happen in the town, according to a synopsis. Grab some popcorn...

It's like we were the two that were the best for each other.' And he said, 'We only introduce love on this show to have it fail,' " Remar added.

With the news that And Just Like That would call it quits after season three, it's probably unlikely we'll ever see Richard return to the Sex and the City universe. But hey, a girl can dream...
