NEW YORK — Olivia Rodrigo is bidding farewell to her "Guts" era.
The singer-songwriter played her "final" concert following her 102-show, arena-filling Guts World Tour with an intimate "secret" concert in New York City, hosted Thursday night by American Express.
"This is definitely going to be the last 'Guts' show, so it's kind of awesome to bookend this chapter," Rodrigo, 22, said before diving into her first chart-topping hit, "Drivers License." "Can't wait to get back on the road one of these days. I don't think I've ever played a show without playing this song."
The Grammy-winning "Good 4 U" singer, dressed in a sequined chartreuse babydoll mini dress, knee-high socks and Miu Miu ballet flats, played a hit-packed show accompanied by an all-female band. She playfully danced around the stage, belting out songs from "Sour" and "Guts," including "Vampire," "Bad Idea Right?" and "Deja Vu."
Olivia Rodrigo spilled her "Guts" for the last time, hitting the stage for what she said was "definitely going to be the last 'Guts' show" at her New York City concert with American Express on Oct. 24.
The Oct. 23 show also saw celebs like "Emily in Paris" star Ashley Park, "Vampire Diaries" star Nina Dobrev and Good American co-founder Emma Grede in the audience rocking out to Rodrigo.
"This is like the most intimate show we've done in a really long time," Rodrigo said.
Fans at the exclusive show, which was open to American Express Platinum and Business Platinum cardholders and VIP guests, were treated to chicken sandwich sliders and hamachi crudo bites before the show on the purple-hued stage, plus an open bar and to-go pizza at the end of the night.
"This is like the most intimate show we've done in a really long time," Olivia Rodrigo said on stage at her New York City concert.

Rodrigo also shared a shoutout to the teen drama series, "The Summer I Turned Pretty." The Prime Video show featured her "Guts" track, "Lacy," in Season 3, Episode 2.
She prefaced the performance by recalling "writing ('Lacy') and feeling so proud of it, just like the songwriting perspective, the lyrical perspective. I thought it really captured this feeling that I was feeling so acutely, like jealousy and comparison and inferiority."

Putting the song on "Guts," Rodrigo said she often strayed away from playing the "down-tempo" ballad and remembered thinking, "I don't know if anyone wants to hear it."
"But lately it was in the show 'The Summer I Turned Pretty,' and then ever since it was in that show, people have been like chanting at me at concerts to since the song if I wasn't going to sing it," she said. "So I'm really grateful for that show and I'm really grateful to you guys for listening to the song and streaming it, because it's always been one of my favorites."
