Jasmine Secrest is going to be a mom!
The Married at First Sight alum, who appeared on season 16 of the show, is expecting her first baby with her husband Jarius Wallace, a rep for the couple confirms to PEOPLE. The two, who met after Secrest's time on the reality TV series, tied the knot this past June.
"I actually found out super early, like 2½ weeks," Secrest tells PEOPLE. "I still don't even know how it showed up that soon. My monthly friend was only one day late, and my husband kept insisting I take a test because, honestly, she shows up like clockwork every month."

She says she ended up taking the test without her husband knowing, "mostly so I could say, 'See? I took it, now leave me alone!' I definitely wasn't expecting those two lines to show up."
When Secrest realized the exciting news, she ran straight out of the bathroom and to her husband, Wallace.
"I had all these cute ideas planned for how I wanted to tell him, but in that moment, I was just so shocked and excited I couldn't hold it in for a second!" she admits to PEOPLE.

As they look forward to adding a little one to their family, Secrest says that they're just so excited to become parents.
"We are beyond excited! It's been so hard keeping it to ourselves because we get so giddy about every appointment," she shares. "We even visit a little ultrasound place sometimes just to peek in on baby."
"We told our immediate family within a week, we're all so close, there's no way we could've kept it from them. We just feel so grateful that God continues to bless us with the desires of our hearts."
