Christopher Meloni had Amy Poehler on edge during a hilarious FaceTime call with Mariska Hargitay.

In the Monday, Oct. 21 episode of the Good Hang with Amy Poehler podcast, the 54-year-old Mean Girls alum spoke to Meloni, 64, via webcam towards the beginning of her show before Hargitay, 61, arrived as an in-person guest.

"Do you know why I lost you? Mariska just called me," Meloni said of his longtime Law & Order: Special Victims Unit costar and friend, as he explained why his screen cut out during the podcast.

Poehler laughed, calling the coincidence "amazing."

"She goes, 'Why won't you pick up? Are you naked?'" Meloni claimed Hargitay told him before he paused his portion of the podcast interview to answer her call.

Meloni made it clear that Hargitay had no idea he was also Poehler's guest.

"Do you want me to call her?" he asked as he and Poehler laughed together. Meloni told the Saturday Night Live star to remain quiet as he FaceTimed Hargitay, who was en route to Poehler's podcast.

As Hargitay answered his call, Meloni playfully responded, "What's up, girlfriend?"

The My Mom Jayne director began talking to Meloni about lemons, but he shifted the conversation back to what they'd previously joked about before he called her back during the podcast.

"Was that a hint? Do you want a nudie?" he asked her.

Poehler did her best to laugh silently from her studio as Hargitay, unaware she's on the taped episode, playfully asked Meloni, "Could I?"

Almost immediately, Hargitay went back to talking about her "s--- ton of lemons" as both Poehler and Meloni continued to laugh.

Meloni then asked the en route Hargitay where she was going.

"I'm, right now, going to Amy Poehler," Hargitay said.

Poehler's surprised reaction was visible on the split screen as she waited to see what Hargitay might say in response.

"You know, I met her, but I don't, like, know her or anything," Hargitay continued as Poehler's jaw hilariously dropped. The Baby Momma actress also waved her arms in the air silently as she remained quiet for the call.

Meloni laughed harder as he watched Poehler squirm.

Eventually, Hargitay asked Meloni why he was laughing, and he told her that he was only "joking" about Poehler and that he loves her.

"You've always loved her," Hargitay said.

After he wrapped the call, Poehler was finally able to give Meloni a piece of her mind.

"I got very nervous," Poehler admitted. "I actually started to sweat because that was like a high school version of like, hearing how somebody was gonna talk about me. Thank God she didn't say anything bad."

Poehler continued, "What if she'd have said, 'I have to go do this dumb podcast?"

Meloni, still smiling, said he "trusted" that Hargitay wouldn't do something like that.

Once Hargitay arrived, she spoke later in the episode about the first time she met Meloni, calling their audition process "pretty magical."

"Listen, I have this personality, and Chris and I, I think where we bonded is that we both have that sense of humor, that sense of play, that sense of risk, that sense of 'I love you, it's safe, so I'm gonna beat you,' and so that's where the trust was built," Hargitay said.

The Dick Wolf-created series began in 1999 as a spinoff of the original Law & Order, and is currently in its 27th season.

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
