In a new interview with PEOPLE on Oct. 22, Williams opened up about her "private little" wedding

Allison Williams is opening up about her private wedding.
While chatting with PEOPLE at a special screening of her new romance movie, Regretting You, in New York City on Wednesday, Oct. 22, Williams, 37, gave a rare comment about her nuptials to husband Alexander Dreymon, 42. PEOPLE confirmed in June that the couple had quietly tied the knot.
"It was just a private little thing for us," Williams tells PEOPLE. "It was just the best."

The Get Out star adds that it "was very funny" that PEOPLE was "breaking the story" because she had been dropping some hints for a while by wearing a certain sparkling ring. She had even referred to Dreymon as her "husband" in a profile in The Guardian.
"I was like, you guys we're back in Getty Images," the actress jokes. "I've been wearing a wedding band for so, so long."
Earlier this week during an interview with Entertainment Tonight for the Los Angeles premiere of her move adaptation of Colleen Hoover's book of the same name on Monday, Oct. 20, Williams shared similar sentiments while addressing her surprise marriage news, explaining that her "secret" wedding wasn't actually so secret because they were never technically "hiding" the fact that they made things official.
"We never were hiding it or keeping it a secret. No, we just didn't make a press release about it," she said.
Williams pointed out that the two were openly sporting wedding rings before the news broke.
"If you go back on [the photo agency site] Getty, we were wearing wedding bands for a while before. People just … You gotta look closer, guys," she quipped to the outlet.

The newlyweds first met on the set of Horizon Line, where they played an on-screen couple. After sparking chemistry while filming together, they began dating at the end of 2019.
In November 2021, the duo privately welcomed a baby named Arlo, though the news of their son's birth was not revealed until months later, in April 2022.
Two days after Williams and Dreymon made their red carpet debut as a couple at the Los Angeles premiere of her horror comedy film M3GAN on Dec. 7, 2022, Dreymon posted a few photos from the event on Instagram — and confirmed their engagement by referring to Williams as his "fiancée."
"Premiere of M3GAN with a screaming, laughing, cheering crowd. It's the ultimate fun scarefest. I'm so proud of my gorgeous fiancée," he wrote on Dec. 9, 2022, tagging Williams in his caption.
