John Carter Cash, the son of Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash, was among the attendees at the Academy of Country Music's 18th ACM Honors.
On Wednesday, Aug. 20, the 55-year-old musician stepped out for a red carpet appearance at The Pinnacle in Nashville, Tenn., where he was accompanied by his wife, Ana Cristina Cash, 40.

John was aptly dressed for the occasion in a silky, unbuttoned gold shirt with floral designs on it, which he paired with dark jeans, a grey T-shirt and simple black boots. He accessorized the look with several layered necklaces, and of course, a black cowboy hat.

Ana Cristina, who has been married to John since 2016, matched her husband's vibe during Wednesday night's event, as her outfit also centered around a gold color scheme.
The country music songstress was dressed in a strapless gold skater dress that was completely covered in sequins and decked out with white ruffles around the skirt. Adding some country flair to her look, Ana Cristina donned a pair of white cowgirl boots, while further accessorizing with a large statement necklace, drop earrings and a bright red shade of lipstick.
John Is the Only Child Johnny and June Welcomed Together
While Johnny and June both had children from previous marriages, John is the only child they welcomed together.
Prior to marrying June in 1968, Johnny was married to his first wife Vivian Liberto, the mother to his four daughters: Roseanne, 70, Kathy, 69, Cindy, 66 and Tara, 63.
June also had two daughters: Carlene, 69, with first husband Carl Smith, and Rosie, whom June welcomed with second husband Edwin Nix. Rosie died at the age of 45 in 2003, just months after June's death at age 73 that May.
Not long after their deaths, Johnny died in September 2003 at age 71.
The Carter-Cash Family's History with the ACM Honors
John and Ana Cristina were just a number of notable attendees at Wednesday night's ceremony, which marks the Academy of Country Music's 18th ACM Honors presentation.
The members of the Carter-Cash family are no strangers to the ACM Honors, as John's famous dad, the legendary "Ring of Fire" crooner, was a past recipient of the ACM Icon Award, according to the ACM. This year, the honor was presented to Eric Church and Ben Vaughn.
Additionally, the 2005 film Walk the Line, which follows the story of Johnny's life and his relationship with June, was previously honored with an ACM honor as well. The Oscar-winning film starring Reese Witherspoonand JoaquinPhoenix was a past recipient of the ACM Film Award, which is presented to films that prominently feature country music. This year's winner is Twisters.
