PGA Tour golfer withdraws from major tournament over family emergency
A PGA Tour golfer has withdrawn from the RBC Canadian Open due to a family emergency. Greyson Sigg was playing in the pro-am competition on Wednesday ahead of the tournament kicking off on Thursday. But according to PGA Tour Communications, Sigg was forced to drop out from both after his wife went into labor. Sigg will be replaced in the Canadian Open field by Zac Blair. The 30-year-old Sigg announced in 2021 that he had gotten engaged to his then-girlfriend, Katie, as they proudly showed off her ring.
