WNBA star rookie Paige Bueckers set to miss showdown with Angel Reese with scary injury
WNBA rookie Paige Bueckers has suffered the first setback of her young career after being placed on concussion protocol. Bueckers, who was selected by the Dallas Wings with the No. 1 overall pick of last month's draft, is set to miss at least two games, according to ESPN's Alexa Philippou. The 23-year-old will be evaluated at the earliest following Dallas's game against the Seattle Storm next Tuesday. The head injury means the former UConn superstar will miss the Wings' clash against Chicago Sky and Angel Reese on Saturday.
