Rory McIlroy was mercilessly mocked by a rival TGL team after missing a short putt as his Boston Common team was beaten by New York Golf Club on Monday night. McIlroy, Adam Scott and Keegan Bradley were beaten 10-6 by the New York team of Xander Schauffele, Rickie Fowler and Cameron Young in the revolutionary new format. With the score tied at 0-0, McIlroy missed a short putt and New York's social media team did not miss the chance to remind the Northern Irishman of another time his putter deceived him.
