The girlfriend of Miller Gardner, the 14-year-old son of ex-Yankees star Brett Gardner, has posted a heartbreaking goodbye following his death. The teen is reportedly believed to have died of 'asphyxiation', with authorities in Costa Rica investigating the tragedy. Miller apparently died by asphyxia 'after a possible intoxication after apparently ingesting some food,' officials in Costa Rica told NBC News. Gardner and his wife Jessica announced the awful news over the weekend, explaining that their son had fallen ill 'along with several other family members'.
