Chelsea £19m summer signing suffers season-ending hamstring injury - and he hasn't even played a game yet!
Chelsea youngster Omari Kellyman has been ruled out for the rest of the season after reinjuring his hamstring. The 19-year-old, who moved to Stamford Bridge from Aston Villa in a deal worth £19 million last summer, is yet to feature for the Blues. He has played just 35 minutes of Premier League football during his time with the Midlands club last term. In an Instagram post on Tuesday, Kellyman said he was 'beyond gutted' to learn that his campaign is over and described the 2024-25 season as a 'tough' one both mentally and physically.
