Trent Alexander-Arnold has avoided any serious injury after limping off in Saturday's win over Bournemouth, Mail Sport understands. The full back remains a doubt for Thursday's Carabao Cup semi-final second leg against Tottenham – the Reds are 1-0 down from the first leg in north London – but he is unlikely to be sidelined for a significant period. Alexander-Arnold, 26, went down in the second half holding his thigh and asked to be substituted.
