Mathys Tel has rejected a move to Tottenham. Spurs had reached a £50million agreement with Bayern over the player, leaving talks between Tel and his agent as the final hurdle to get a deal over the line. Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy was reportedly in Bavaria to 'accelerate talks' for the France international, keen to push forward as other Premier League outfits breathed down their necks. Tel has a number of offers on the table and it was thought that playing time would be key to his decision, with his decision to call it quits at Bayern coming after falling out of favour under Vincent Kompany.
