Man City eye up TWO Juventus stars - as Premier League champions look to make a loan move for one this window and sign the other £59m-rated star in the summer
Manchester City want a straight loan deal if they are to land Douglas Luiz from Juventus this month and hold an interest in team-mate Andrea Cambiaso with a view towards the summer. Cambiaso withdrew from Juve training on Tuesday due to an ankle injury that has plagued him for over a month, with the full back having been playing with painkilling injections. City are pessimistic about the prospect of signing the 24-year-old this month but, while not yet tabling an official offer, are keeping an eye on developments in Turin were an initial valuation of around £59million to drop.
