Luke Littler raced through to the World Championship semi-finals by beating Nathan Aspinall 5-2 on Wednesday night. The 17-year-old threatened to completely run away with the match as he took the first two sets for the loss of just one leg. However, Aspinall fought back to halve the deficit, and showed signs of mounting an improbable comeback. Yet he was always kept at arm's length by his teenage opponent, and Littler wrapped up victory in the seventh set to move into the last four for the second successive year.
