Chris Wood has acknowledged having the trust of everyone at Nottingham Forest has helped hit the form of his life at 33. After struggling at his previous club Newcastle, Wood has become the Premier League's stand-out surprise this season. His 11 goals is bettered only by Mo Salah, Erling Haaland and Cole Palmer, and lifted Forest up to second place in the table. 'I've got the backing of the manager and the team, which is nice,' said the veteran Kiwi who views Forest as an ideal fit.
